General Statements |
| |
The Berlin School of Mines (BSM), an independent non-governmental association of academia, political institutions, and companies, provides advanced professional training in various fields related to Economic Geology.
In recent years, Germany lost much of its geoscientific and associated industrial expertise (increasingly, this is a global trend), despite of diminishing resources and exploding raw materials prices. In order to counter this development, we offer our teaching and research platform.
The scientific, industrial, and political interface provided by the BSM shall assist participants to understand, for instance, complex genetic, ecological, economic, and political issues relating to the raw material sector. |
